HELLO ALBERT The
stimulating and mildy amusing fanzine |
 |
It is claimed by those with memories
which stretch so far back, that Sealand Road was one
of the first League grounds to have a public address
system.
From as early as 1931 when Chester
entered the League the announcer would greet supporters
saying: “Hello Spion Kop! Hello Albert”.
He was apparently addressing a long-standing supporter
in the crowd.
The fanzine title Hello Albert
thus epitomises attempts at communication between Chester
supporters. |
