Prolific goalscorer for both Vauxhall Motors and Northwich Victoria Gregg was transferred to Doncaster Rovers for £25,000 in March 2003. He spend two seasons at Belle Vue before becoming Chester’s record transfer when he joined the Blues for £100,000 in the summer of 2005.

Got off to a great start with seven goals before a serious injury in September forced the striker to miss 14 games and he struggled to find his goalscoring touch again before the end of the season.

Left to join Darlington for an undisclosed five figure fee in January 2007.
