Monthly Review
Chester City may be going through a difficult
time just now, but their bibliography has never been
better with the publication of CHESTER CITY OFFICIAL
REVIEW OF THE SEASON 1998/99. Chas Sumner has compiled
a remarkable book, beautifully produced in 100 brochure-sized
glossy pages, perfect bound with a full colour card
cover. Full page match reports, with accompanying statistics,
photographs and programme covers, are provided for all
League and Cup games, and in summary form for friendlies,
reserves and youths. Each player has his career profiled
and summarised and the book ends with 16 pages of historical
trivia and obituaries. It is doubtful if there has been
a more comprehensive or more handsome account of a club’s
season.... |
