Chester Nomads lost out 10-2 at home against league leaders Chester City, with three goal Mark Brennan getting the Blues going and further quality strikes from Les McCoy (2).

Chester City 19 Saughall 0

Chester City stay top with a profesional 19-0 home win against luckless Saughall Mark Breennan led the way with a hat-trick.

Chester City 9 Chester Nomads 0
Chester City put in a good all round performance at home against Chester Nomads and won 9-0 with three goal Les McCoy leading the way Mark Brennan (2), Canice O’Mahony (1), Dave McCully (1), John Cheers (1), and a pile driver from Larry Foster.

Chester City 2 Westminster Park 1

Chester City left it late with a 2-1 home win over Westminster Park who took the lead early on but Jonathen Cheers and Les McCoy kept the three points with the home side.

Broughton Super Saints 1 Chester City 2
The game of the day paired the joint top two BSS and Chester City and with two red cards shown by the strong referee things were always going to be tight. Nathan Green got the home side going but an OG straight from a Luke Edwards corner got City back in the game. With the game ebbing away a draw was on the cards but City were awarded a penalty which was cooly converted by Steve Harding to take the three points for City and take them three points clear.

Tattenhall 3 Chester City 9

Chester City drew level on points at the top with a great performance away at Tattenhall winning 9-3. Ben Cooke (2) and Will Grifiths (1) got the home sides goals with Sam Corran Man of the Match but replys from Les McCoy (4), Mark Brennan (3), Luke Edwards (1), and Will Tane (1), secured the points for City.

Chester City 10 Saughall Colts 1

Chester City keep the preasure up at the top with a convincing 10-1 win at Saughall Colts. Mark Brennan led the way with four goals and Sean Turner (2), Dave McCully (1) and Man of the Match Les McCoy (1), Will Tane (1), and Johnny Cheers (1), for the home side James Smith (1), and a awell deserved Man of the Match for Danny Lloyd.

Chester City 3 Cholmondley 0

Chester City Juniors played host to Cholmondley and in a very entertaining game scored a 3-0 win to keep them on the tails of the leaders, Les Mccoy (2) and Man of the match with a Steve Harding penalty securing the points for City.
Sunday 5 October
Westminster Park 0 Chester City 4

After the previous weeks very rare defeat City were soon back on form and returned from Westminster Park with a very comfortable 4-0 win with goals from Les McCoy (2) and Mark Brennan (2).
Sunday 28 September
Chester City 3 Broughton Super Saints 7

In a very entertaining game the Blues suffered an early season setback against BSS as the visitors won 7-3. Nathan Green bagged six for the visitors and is a real handfull and the Blues will have to improve for the away fixture as these two teams will surely battle it out for honours again this season, for City the scorers were Les Mccoy (2) and Mark Brennan.

Chester City 15 Waverton 0
The under 14s scored 15 without reply, Mark Brennan getting six with further goals from Canice O’Mahony (4) Les McCoy (2) Dave McCully (1) Kennedy Tattler Ashes (1) and Shaun Turner (1).
Three of the junior teams players were called up to Iain Jenkins youth team last week and faced Darlington College in the F.A Youth Cup at the Deva Stadium Alex Owen (under 14), keeper Rhys Robbins (under 16s) and Kyle Jones under 16s well done to them.

Chester City 5 Tattenhall 1
The 14s entertained Tattenhall and soon got there noses in front through Les McCoy with Mark Brennan adding a second before the half .In the second half Brownrigg in the Tattenhall goal produced a string of fine saves to deny the blues but with further goals from Steve Harding and a Les McCoy hat-trick Chester were never in danger and ended the game 5-1 winners.
