TWO MORE SIGNINGS
|
Chester have
re-signed former 21-year-old midfielder Iwan
Murray (pictured) from Runcorn Linnets on
a one-year deal. Murray, a product of the
Chester Youth Academy, previously made 10+10
appearances for Chester, scoring 3 goals before
joining Runcorn in the summer of 2020.
The Blues have also signed 20-year-old midfielder
Lewis Earl on a one-year deal. Earl moved
from Preston North End to Stockport County
in the summer of 2020 and last season has
loan spells at AFC Telford United, Warrington

KGV OFFICIALLY OPENS
It was a magnificent
day for the Community Trust as the Duke of Westminster
officially the new King George V sports nub in Blacon.
The ambitious venture was funded by a £1m
investment from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s
Football Foundation, as well as partnership funding
from the Westminster Foundation, Cheshire West &
Chester Council, Avenue Services, Ursula Keyes Trust
and the Community Trust. Congratulations to all
those who helped secure the funding for the project.
The facilities on offer include a full-size floodlit
3G artificial grass pitch, a new clubhouse featuring
changing rooms, kitchen, office and a community
room. Ongoing work is continuing with neighbouring
grass pitches and the refurbishment of the run-down
pavilion on site. The Community Trust will now be
based at the site.

BLUES RE-SIGN MORGAN

Chester have
signed former 24-year-old defender Jamie Morgan
on a one-year contract from Altrincham. Morgan
first signed for the Blues in the pre-season
of 2019 from Nantwich Town. He has previously
made 30+6 appearances for Chester, scoring
4 goals before he moved to Altrincham in January
this year.

BLUES SIGN CENTRAL DEFENDER
Chester have completed
the signing of 25-year-old Bolton Wanderers central
defender Liam Edwards on a one-year deal, which
starts on 1 August. Edwards had two successful loan
spells at Southport last season and has made six
appearances in the first team for The Trotters.
Manager Calum McIntyre told the official club website
“I am absolutely delighted to get Liam on
board, he has a real pedigree with his experiences
and background at clubs further up the pyramid,
but equally has a significant number of games under
his belt at this level. We were really clear that
we wanted to add a central defender and Liam ticks
every single box in terms of profile.”

STANWAY SIGNS NEW DEAL
Wyll Stanway has
signed a new one-year deal at Chester. The 21-year-old
goalkeeper joined the Blues from Lancaster City
in January and went on to make 11+0 appearances
before the end of the season.

NEW DEAL FOR WILLIAMS
Defender Matty Williams
has signed a new one-year deal at the club. Williams
was voted CFU Player of the Season last year and
scored five goals in 34+1 appearances in his first
year with the club.

MIDFIELDER SIGNS
Chester have signed
22-year-old midfielder Joe Lynch on a one-year deal
from from Runcorn Linnets.
TWO MORE RE-SIGN
Forward Anthony Dudley
has signed a new one year contract with the Blues.
Dudley has made 105+26 appearances for Chester in
his four years at the club, scoring 28 goals. Meanwhile,
fellow forward, Lloyd Marsh-Hughes has signed a
six month contract. Hughes, a product of the youth
academy, has previously made 4+26 first team appearances
without scoring. He spent the majority of last season
on loan at Runcorn Linnets.
BLUES SIGN STRIKER
Chester have signed
23-year-old forward Kole Hall on a one year contract.
The Bermudan player, who has made three international
appearances, spent last season on a dual registration
with Altrincham and Nantwich Town.
BOOST THE BUDGET
The club have launched
Boost The Budget 2022/23 with the aim of raising
the sum of £75,000 by 30 June. It is a five
tier donation system:
Tier 1 Our City — £5.00 per month, or
a one-off £60 donation
Tier 2 Our Community — £10.00 per month,
or a one-off £120 donation
Tier 3 Our Club — £20.00 per month,
or a £240 one-off donation
Tier 4 Club Hero — £50.00 per month,
or a £600 one-off donation
Tier 5 Club Legend — £100.00 per month,
or a £1,200 one-off donation
There is a full range of rewards for those supporters
who wish to contribute. More information can be
