Due
to a declining number of entries over the
last three years it has been decided not
to run the competition for the coming 2012/13
season. We hope to relaunch the competition
next year.
The final placings for the 2011/12 competition
can now be confirmed and are as follows:
1st Nigel Grimes (£100) – 34pts
2nd John R Jones (£30) –
31pts (Tie-break answer 101 goals)
3rd Anthony Barnes (£15) –
31pts (Tie-break answer 105 goals)
The tie break was needed to sort out the
second and third places with 102 league
goals scored by Chester being the correct
figure. William Stacey with 109 goals predicted
just missed out after also finishing on
31pts.
The highest placed Exiles member was John
R Jones from Streatley in Berkshire who
receives the 2010/11 home players shirt,
while Peter Oldroyd who was the Exile who
collected most forms (30). Peter will receive
the framed signed programme from last season’s
home game against Witton Albion that the
Exiles sponsored.
